Sugar Craft Flower & Cupcake Bouquet class

Classes run from 10.30am until 2pm.

The morning will be spent creating your own sugar crafted flowers. Choosing your colour theme, learning how to colour and work with sugarpaste to make it easier to handle ensuring a professional finish. You will have access to a large variety of different cutters to create an array of different flowers, rose leaves and butterflies.

While your flowers and leaves are drying we then move on to creating the basis of your bouquet. We will work on this together with clear step by step instruction.

After lunch you will learning how to piping the delicate rose swirl. After a demonstration you will be given your own piping bag and nozzle and will have plenty of time to practice perfecting delicate buttercream rose swirls. You will also be taught how to create 2 tone colour effect. Although you will not be making buttercream during the class the recipe along with hints and tips on achieving a light and fluffy buttercream will be in your information pack.

Finally we will bring everything together; adding the cupcakes (this will be freshly baked just before your class) to your bouquet base, piping delicate 2 tone buttercream rose swirls onto your cupcakes and added your beautiful sugar crafted flowers to create your simply stunning Cupcake bouquet. Not only will you take home your beautiful cupcake bouquet which you will created all by yourself but you will also leave with a new found knowledge and confidence to continue to develop your skills at home to create stunning Cupcake bouquets for any occasion. You will take home an information pack with details of everything covered during class.

This class is suitable for students of all levels; all equipment is provided along with a light lunch and scrumptious Wow Cupcakes all you need to remember is your apron and your packed lunch. Classes will take place at Lordswood Community centre, Southampton Hampshire in a very relaxed and friendly environment.

I kindly ask that you double check your date and availability before booking your class as we are unable of offer a refund for cancellation or a no show, once payment for a class has been received you will be emailed your joining instructions. In the unlikely chance a class is cancelled by us for circumstances beyond our control, a full refund will be made.
